TO USE THEM IS TO LOVE THEM!
The Must-Have Arch for Low Force, Frictionless Retraction and
Space Closure and now with PRE-TORQUED ANTERIORS
FOR YOUR INFORMATION
1. One of the self-locking brackets being sold has arch-locking mechanisms that will bind with our
normal posterior segments of .016 square. For these customers, we offer posterior segments
of .015 square. This smaller square selection will be perfect for those practitioners using .018 Speed
Brackets™. Square posteriors are better able to withstand force application than the comparable
round designs as there is greater cross-sectional area in the square versions and more resistance
to deformation under load.
2. We strongly recommend square end segments. You may be assured that our reduced square end
segments afford frictionless treatment.
3. We normally are able to supply posterior segments in steel, in .015 sq., .016 sq., .017 sq. and
.018 sq., with almost any sized anterior. Steel is the most preferred posterior alloy because of its
resistance to deformation under load.
4. Finally, we can supply different anterior alloy combinations consisting of steel, niti or beta-titanium.

5. Do not hamper these Tri-Sectional Arches, in their posterior free sliding, by placing elastomerics on
posterior brackets. Elastomerics create substantial binding on the archwire. Instead, use lightly
placed steel ligatures and free the arch.
6. Discover your space closure progressing with anterior stability and freedom from over-retraction—
easily maintain anterior axial inclination. Bow your arches for dramatic bite opening and enhanced
space closure. Be sure to increase toe-in as you increase bowing.
Our Tri-Sectional Arches are the perfect complement to self-locking brackets,
augmenting the free-sliding frictionless concept of treatment.

In Addition to our original Tri-Sectional Arches with 0° torque in the anterior segment, we now offer two sizes of anterior segments with 20° of torque - .019 x .025 in 20° with posterior segments of .018 x .018 and .016 x .025 in 20° with posterior segments of .016 x .016.
